Let me start by saying I am extremely happy with these control arms. It states the watts link position may require a before axle exhaust, I had absolutely no issues with this kit, it is a bolt on kit for my bone stock 2004 CVPI. The quality of them was clear out of the box, it came with 10.9 grade bolts and of course the arms and watts links, but here’s the reason it gets 4 stars. For one, no instructions. Typically I get by just fine without them, however this time the bolts that are provided DO NOT WORK in the upper frame mounting point. There is a captured nut held onto a bracket that slides onto the frame. If you attempt to use the large bolt they provide it WILL get stuck due to the long shank on the bolt. You may be able to use multiple washers but the kit does not include them and I would be wary of attempting this as the consequences are having to cut a hole on the other side of your frame, cutting the head of the bolt off and ramming the bolt with the hardware still on the nut through the hole you cut……ask me how I know. :/ I ended up finding I had to use the stock bolts for these two mounting locations, I have ordered new captured nut assemblies and will be purchasing new 10.9 bolts that have more threads to give that extra bit of safety although I’m sure the stock bolts are just fine. I definitely recommend this kit, don’t use the provided bolts in the holes I spoke of and you’ll be back on the road within a few hours of work. Be sure to torque all your bolts/nuts with the suspension loaded!!!
