Replace your stock studs with these locking header bolts from Stage 8! Highly suggested with Stainless Works header installs!
These Stage 8 locking header bolts are designed to absolutely, positively not back out. These bolts eliminate the need to monitor and tighten bolts regularly.
- Fits all 1992-2011 4.6L Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis/Town Car, 1996-2004 4.6L Mustangs and 2007-2012 Shelby GT500s. Will not fit any 4.6L 3V engines.
- Features grade 8 aircraft quality bolts that are made in the U.S.A. and are duplex nickel plated.

Use them if you are installing headers. Torque specification is 18 ft-lbs. on a Crown Vic, so with out them you might be torqueing your bolts more then driving your car.

I’ve used Stage 8 header bolts before. They are ESSENTIAL to ensure no back out over time. Your playing Russian Roulette if you don’t put these on with any header setup. My car is an 08 Interceptor and I bought the Stainless Works headers and cats. I Cerakote’d my pipes in an Ice Steel look. GORGEOUS. Love the quality of the Stainless Works headers. THANKS CHRIS!
